Privacy is critical, and I pledge to protect yours to the highest degree. Especially if you are still a tenant at Heatherwood, protecting your identity while allowing you the freedom to speak your mind may be critical to you and your family.
Readers: If you read this site, your data will not be collected or retained in any way. If advertisements appear on the site, cookies may be employed to counteract fraud as well as target ads to you by area, but nobody will ever have any access to your personally identifiable information. The easiest way to ensure this is by not retaining any of it more than 24-hours.
Commenters & Forum Participants: If you take part in discussions on the site, your account information will be kept confidential from any outside agency. No advertisers, outside companies or anyone else will be able to gain access to that information short of a court order, and I pledge to take any such requests all the way to court order and appeal before disclosing it. Even still, this information is very difficult to pull out of the system, and even I get a court order, I do not currently have the technology to extract such information.
* Tenants – You will always be entitled the highest degree of protection, period.
* Management – If you create an account, you are REQUIRED to identify yourself as Heatherwood management staff. If you fail to disclose this prior to participating in comments, discussions or the posting of any material to this site whatsoever, and you are discovered, your data will be subject to publication.
Writers/Administrators: Before being granted these permissions, I will need to verify who you are. You will still be subject to the same degrees of protection as anyone else, but I will have to verify who you are in order to maintain the integrity of this site.
Heatherwood Staff: Past and present Heatherwood staff members are entitled to the same protection as any other users on the site at any level, so long as you disclose up front your professional connection to Heatherwood Apartments.
Advertisers: Advertisers information is kept confidential to the degree required in advance of paid placement, or in accordance with the terms of service independently agreed upon. Advertisers may never have access to user database information, regardless of the price paid, the reasons for it, or the supposed benevolence of the buying company.
