I hadn’t seen the summaries listed on ApartmentReviews.net until after I launched this site, and apparently the management at Heatherwood hasn’t either. These range in date from March 2006 to July 2008. Here are the headlines, with brief summaries, detailing the reviews of Heatherwood Apartments in Mill Creek Washington from that site:
Halfway House In Mill Creek – “To say the least, this place is a nightmare… Poor craftsmanship… Parking is ridicious with trash all over, and theft and damage to vehicles common… The trash dumpster is overflowing, and nasty… The Rent is cheap but avoid at all costs.” Click Here to See Original

Hell In Mill Creek!! – “The actual apartment is nice…but when you factor in the clueless management and the raving lunatics that live here the place goes from a 5 to a 1. I have lived here for three years and since HNN management has taken over the complex has turned into the ghetto!!!!…. management allows tenants to place all sorts of crap on their patios which creates quite an eyesore. Highly Misleading – “I would strongly caution any potential renters to review their website and policies VERY carefully before signing the dotted line… I was set to move in, paperwork completed, then was told by management that since my dog weighed 55lbs. and was a mixed breed that I couldn’t rent from them! After telling them that their website clearly states “ALL SIZE PETS WELCOME” they told me they were unaware the website stated that information and basically they wouldn’t do anything about it. They then told me they have a weight limit on all their pets which is 50lbs.! My dog is half shelty half lab and they wouldn’t accept her breed because of it’s relation with shephards!! I even offered to pay 6 months ahead, up front, and still they refused. I was left scrambling to find another community while having to go thru the enormous hassle of getting my money refunded (took over 2 weeks!)… Tread very carefully, the management and their associates are amongst the most unprofessional that I’ve come across. ” Click Here to See Original

Beware – They Will Try To Rip You Off When You Mov – “BEWARE – when you move out the management has the habit af failing to provide a move out statement within 14 days (which is required by law) and for deducting items that fall under “ordinary use” from the tenant deposit – which is also prohibited. If You Love White Trash And Cigarettes – “Takes a long time to get anything fixed, ghetto kids everywhere and lots and lots of cigarette smoke but hey its super cheap and looks nice with good amenities.” (This is one of the very few “favorable” ratings on the site… is this a glowing review or do you expect something more?) This Place Is A Slum – “We have lived in that secured building (a joke) and this place is straight out of some inner city ghetto. Literally feces in the halls, gang grafitti, urination and spit CONSTANTLY in the elevator. It’s pretty bad when you come home from work and have to stand against the wall in the elevator trying not to step in the urine. The management is RAISING the rent!… There is a discarded broken couch and entertainment center in the stairwell right off our apartment. We are on the 4th floor and have to stare at someones junk everytime we walk we climb the stairs… We are moving from this cesspool as soon as we can.” Click Here to See Original

Lots To Fix (Not A Good Review) – “I would have been pleased with these apartments had I not heard parties all nite. THE MANAGEMENT ISN’T THE GREATEST. THE MANAGER NEEDS TO WORK ON HER PEOPLE SKILLS. This Place Sucks, I’ve Lived Here For 2 Years – “This place has really gone down hill. I live in the R building… This place has tons of kids with the parents no where to be found. I sometimes see 2-5 year olds playing outside in the rain with no jackets or anything not to mention me almost running over kids in the parking lot. I’m going 5mph and kids jump in front of my car. One time I was pulling out and I look back to see a little girl standing right behind my car, I wanted to get out and kick the parents ass for not watching their kids. AND this place lets any loser druggies move in. I’ve had 5 families come and go over the last year prob because they didn’t pay the bills. The people now have 420 all over their car and smell like an ash tray. They moved in at 11:00 at night and must have 15 people living in there. They also leave dirty diapers in the hallway. We have fire doors here, it’s great…..NOT! Whenever someone comes and goes your apartment door shakes my dog barks every time because it sounds like someones breaking in. I’ve called the office many times and I swear monkeys could run the place better. You walk in and have to stand there and wait for them to be done talking about personal stuff to get a word in and then they look at you like “what do you want”… I’m moving out ASAP…I no longer feel safe here. Good Family=Friendly Apartments! – “We moved here in Nov. 2005 and really like it. They changed management in Jan. 2006 but it hasn’t seemed to made a difference. It’s a pretty good value for this area but the rent is going up (as of 2006). We hope we’re able to afford to continue living here for a while… Our only gripe is with maintenance. They Don’t Care. – “I have lived here for eight months. I am in the only secure building. Well, not really secure… Residents have ripped off door handles on all the doors so that you don’t even need the keys. We also found poop (human or dog? not sure) in the stair wells. Someone later smeared it everywhere. Walls, handrails you name it. We informed the management. It took 4 months to clean it. Maintainence is also in charge of maintaining the elevators and secure building’s hallways. They have yet to clean the floors of the tile elevator. And kids spit on the walls to see how long it takes to travel. And they don’t vacuum the hallways. They walk around with a broom and dustpan. Brooms don’t clean carpet… My car was stolen from the lot. This isn’t a place you want to rent from. I am trying to move out, and my new apartment needs my rental history.
